About

Recovery Dharma is a Buddhist-inspired program for recovery from substance and process addictions. Recovery Dharma is a Buddhist-inspired program for recovery from substance and process addictions. We use the Buddha's teachings of The Four Noble Truths and The Eight Fold Path as a guide to understanding the nature of ourselves, our addictions, and the world around us. Through this program, we seek the power in ourselves to heal and grow by learning to act more ethically, interact with reality more wisely, and experience our lives with mindfulness. Our peer-led meetings sit together for a guided meditation, share readings from the Recovery Dharma book, and hold space for us to share our experiences on our path. May you be happy. May you be at ease. May you be free from suffering. The Four Noble Truths: There is suffering There is a cause of suffering There is an end to suffering There is a path that leads to the end of suffering The Eight Fold Path: Wise Understanding Wise Intention Wise Speech Wise Action Wise Livelihood Wise Effort Wise Mindfulness Wise Concentration
